denise slusher, md, facog

Dr. Denise Slusher has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2002 and serving women in our community since 2007. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a graduate of Stanford University and the University of Colorado Medical School. She performed her residency at the University of Kansas in Wichita. 

In addition to general obstetrics and gynecology, Denise specializes in adolescent gynecology. She enjoys every opportunity to lead and empower young girls to make health lifestyle choices.

“I am a good listener and like collaborating with my patients,” explains Denise. “I pride myself in taking the time needed to help patients understand their health and make healthcare decisions that are right for them.”

Denise is a Colorado native and enjoys reading, skiing, spending time with family, and watching football and baseball.

Angela Baja–Catarinicchia, MD 

Dr. Angela Baja-Catarinicchia was born in Manila, Philippines, is newly married, and excited to bring women’s healthcare services to Harmony Women’s Health Center. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from University of Illinois in Chicago, IL, and recently finished her OB/GYN residency from Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

She enjoys volunteering and speaks Tagalog fluently. She has also studied Spanish and American Sign Language. In her free time, Angela loves cooking, water sports, singing karaoke and traveling.

Oralee Ekberg, DO 

Dr. Oralee Ekberg lives in Brighton and is excited to once again work in Brighton. She graduated from medical school in Kansas City, Missouri and performed her obstetrics and gynecology residency in Toledo, Ohio. After her residency she worked in Brighton for a few years, but left the general OB/GYN practice to specialize in gynecologic surgery. Upon finishing a fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and hysterscopic surgery, she has spent the past 10 years specializing in gyn surgery in Denver.

“I am excited to return to my roots delivering babies, in addition to continuing to provide all stages of general gynecological care and minimally invasive surgeries,” she explains.

Oralee performs annual well woman exams, as well as treats abnormal pap smears, sexually transmitted infections, provides birth control options, helps control heavy or painful menses, fibroids, endometriosis, painful intercourse, irregular menses, ovarian issues, urinary incontinence and pelvic prolapse. In addition, she helps women with menopausal concerns and has an interest in hormone replacement therapy as well as other treatment options. 

“My role is to listen, complete a thorough exam, and ask questions to help determine the best treatment options,” she says. “I want to make sure patients understanding everything and not be afraid to ask questions. I also believe it’s important to discuss treatment options, pros and cons of each, and then decide together what treatment will have the best outcome.”

She performs most surgeries with a laparoscopic, hysteroscopic or vaginal approach to not only have an excellent surgical outcome, but also an easier and quicker recovery. As a gyn surgeon, she performs hysterectomies, myomectomies, endometrial ablations, excision of endometriosis, pelvic organ prolapse surgery, and urinary stress incontinence surgery with little to no time in the hospital.

Oralee has two children and most of her free time is spent being a busy Mom attending her children's practices and sporting events at Brighton High School. She loves to travel, cook, and ride her motorcycle.


Esther Min, DO

Dr. Esther Min takes extra care to be sure her patients’ needs and opinions are being considered during their treatment. She wants her patients to feel they are treated like family. She specializes in minimally invasive surgeries, including laparoscopic, hysteroscopic, and vaginal approaches.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a graduate of A.T. Still University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Esther performed her residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.

Dr. Min likes the welcoming atmosphere of the Brighton community and hopes to provide comprehensive and compassionate medical care to local women as the area continues to grow. In her free time, Dr. Min enjoys hiking, camping, running, traveling and exploring new music.
